Nepal and India's relationship is complex, with both nations sharing historical and cultural ties, but also experiencing tensions and frustrations. India has been supportive of Nepal during times of crisis, such as the 2015 earthquake, providing rescue efforts and rehabilitation aid. India's financial contributions to Nepal's development have also been significant, with a 29.41% increase in annual grants in 2022-23 and an allocation of Rs 8.8 billion in the 2023-24 budgets.

Thousands of Gorkha soldiers are still serving in the Indian army and the money they earned would be invested in fostering their family back in the Himalyan Nation. Families of either country can freely work in either nation and the 1800 km long porous border helps them to do so. Nepal’s citizens prefer Bollywood movies and songs. Thus, Indian cultures have largely influenced Himalyan people. Both the nations share their cultural and social ties since its inception. 

But question remains: who instigates Nepal against India- the country, which would foster Nepal- a landlocked nation, the country, which good gesture for its Himalayan neighbor has always been appreciated across the world. Have Nepal’s diplomats, media or China been winding up anti-india sentiments in Nepal or other factors are behind all this.

However, several issues have caused strains between the two nations 

- Border Disputes

The India-Nepal border dispute is a complex issue that's been simmering for decades. The main point of contention is the 1,850-kilometer open border, which has seen territorial disputes and encroachments by Nepali security forces into Indian lands, resulting in killings and extortion of Indian citizens.

- Kalapani: A 35 square kilometer area at the trijunction of India, Nepal, and China, where India claims the Kali River originates in the Pankhagad rivulet, while Nepal asserts the Lipu Gad river is the Kali River.

- Susta: India claims around 100 square km area of Susta in West Champaran district of Bihar has been encroached by Nepal.

- Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh, Mechi, and Tanakpur : Both countries claim encroachment by the other.

 

Nepal's recent actions, such as including disputed territories in its new currency notes, have escalated tensions. India has called on Nepal to honor sovereignty, engage in dialogue, and abstain from making baseless claims.

The dispute's roots lie in historical uncertainty and contrasting views on border delineations. Nepal cites historical treaties and cartographic evidence, while India retains control, citing historical precedence and strategic necessity.

To resolve this, India and Nepal must prioritize communication and mutual respect. India should utilize its historical ties with Nepal to persuade the new leadership that China's intentions are exploitative. A proactive dialogue and diplomatic solutions are crucial to address territorial disputes and geopolitical tensions.

Dispute over Buddha Birth Place

 The dispute over Buddha's birthplace has been a longstanding issue between India and Nepal, with strong emotions running high, especially in Nepal, which has a significant Buddhist population. In 2013, Indian media sparked protests in Nepal by suggesting Buddha was born in India. This led to Nepalese youth taking to social media and the streets to express their discontent.

India's External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, further fueled the controversy in 2020 by describing Buddha as one of the greatest Indians ever. Nepal's foreign ministry quickly responded, pointing out that historical and archaeological evidence confirms Buddha's birthplace as Lumbini, Nepal. India's External Affairs Ministry spokesperson later clarified that Jaishankar's remarks referred to the shared Buddhist heritage between India and Nepal .

Despite these tensions, most scholars agree that Buddha was indeed born in Lumbini, Nepal around 623 BC. Lumbini is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is considered the birthplace of Buddha and the foundation of Buddhism.

Interestingly, India has been using Buddhism as a soft power tool in its diplomacy, highlighting its historical ties to other nations. India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, visited Lumbini in 2022, accompanied by Nepal's Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, to lay the foundation stone for the India International Center for Buddhist Culture and Heritage.

India and Nepal disagree over Buddha's birthplace, with India suggesting it's in India and Nepal asserting it's in Lumbini, Nepal.

- Historical Evidence: Nepal's foreign ministry cites historical and archaeological evidence to support Lumbini as Buddha's birthplace.

- Shared Buddhist Heritage: India's External Affairs Ministry emphasizes the shared Buddhist heritage between India and Nepal.

Similar situation was raised in 2021, when Nepal’s PM KP Sharma Oli claimed that Sri Ram-the Hindu Deity born in ‘Ayodhyapuri’ located in Birgunj city in Nepal- thousands of km away from Ayodhya of India where Sri Ram was actually born and brought up.

 "Big Brother" Behavior: Nepalis object to India's perceived "micromanagement" and framing of Nepal as India's "young brother." Nepal, as the oldest sovereign country in South Asia, values its independence and sovereignty.

- Unequal Diplomatic Agreements: Nepal's public perceives agreements like the Gandaki, Koshi, and Mahakali water treaties, and the 1950 Peace and Friendship Treaty, as benefiting India more. Many Nepali politicians advocate revising these treaties to ensure equality.

Trade Blockades have been a major point of contention, with India imposing blockades in 1975, 1989, and 2015. The 2015 blockade, which occurred after the earthquake, led Nepal to sign a trade and transit agreement with China. This blockade also caused severe fuel and medicine shortages, isolating Nepal from the rest of the world.

“Nepal's Constitution and Madhesi Ethnic Minorities” is another issue. Nepal's new constitution marginalized Madhesi ethnic minorities, who are culturally close to India. This led to violent protests and demands for India to intervene in 2015. India's response was to launch a massive blockade, which further exacerbated tensions.

 “Geographical Disadvantages” also play a role in Nepal's tensions with India. As a landlocked nation, Nepal relies heavily on India for imports, including petroleum. India's control over Nepal's borders and trade routes has led to feelings of frustration and dependence.

 “China's Influence” is also a factor, with Nepal seeking to balance its relationships between India and China. Nepal remained in bargaining mode, has signed trade agreements with China and receives financial aid from both nations.

 It's clear that this sensitive issue requires careful diplomacy to resolve. By acknowledging the shared cultural significance of Buddhism, India and Nepal can work towards strengthening their ties and promoting regional peace.

Despite these tensions, recent developments suggest a thawing in relations. Nepal's Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba's visit to India in August 2024 marked a new achievement in energy trade, with Nepal importing an additional 251 MW of electricity from India. This cooperation aligns with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of regional development through economic collaboration.

In summary, while India has been supportive of Nepal in times of crisis, several issues have contributed to tensions and frustrations between the two nations.

 It's essential for both nations to address these underlying issues to strengthen their relationship, focusing on mutual benefit and respect for sovereignty.

                        On 24 May, 2023, I was attacked with iron rod while I was on way to carry out a follow up story in my local town Motihari in Bihar along with my three other associates.

The incident followed horror, grief and anger. If you've been threatened for doing your job, and a lot of us have, what happened in Motihari brought that terror right back to the surface. 

What do you do when you've faced threats? Does it change how you work? How can you take care of yourself? The day after the attacks, I felt, in this critic situation almost all scribes will stand with me-their senior colleagues and help me to lead me up to justice.

Reason: the severity of attacks on a senior journalists like me in broad day light  and my selfless contributions to the society and nation being a journalist in India’s national news paper like the Hindustan Times, The Indian Nation, The telegraphs and many Hindi language News paper and also in Border News Mirror-a bi-lingual news paper for last 30 years.

Locals staged sit-ins on 30 may, 2023 with  the rush of social activists and common citizens demanding arresting of assailants. Barring few important faces among journalists, most of the scribes found disappeared from dharna sites. Don’t know whether it is due to professional rivalry or those facts in which I would raise through my news papers and through other flat forms I kept.

Instead of sharing some word of consolations, my own colleagues in the field of journalist found engaged in tarnishing my images with the help of some non journalists and other vested interests .I raises many stories on land grabbers, high profile criminals and also white collar criminals . I would lay my helping hand organized crime’s victims and also social activists throughout in my carriers.

The recent stories “illegal vegetable markets” being operated in Chatauni localities- is supposed to be the reason behind this murderous attack on me. We demanded only to crack the stories behind attack after filling a police case against unknown miscreants. One of suspect in the case had old enmity with my family but I can’t claim whether he is involved in the incident or not. Got police assurances to identify culprits, 10 days lapsed but police is still clueless.  We have found the images of assailants from CCTV footage but they are yet to be located.

Local Times of india correspondent and most senior journalist Chandra Bhushan Pandey however, underlines the reason behind startling disappearances and growing dis-unity among journos while severely attacking on Print News paper. In his presidential address, he said situation is that even an editor of a print news paper is attacked; his own news may be disappeared from his own news paper. Only advertisement givers, mafias, corrupt bureaucrats and land brokers are influencing the media houses and representatives and owners of print media houses are only dancing on their tunes, he attacked.

The statements sparked off controversies and draws reactions from various quarters of journalist body. Contrary, representatives of digital media hailed Pandey’s statements and also they honestly carried the stories of this murderous attack. Most of the leading print media did not even take up the stories.  The very next days of Dharna organized to support me, a sorry stories behind shameful ignorance of print media surfaced.

Dharna led by Chandra Bhushan Pandey however became success as a huge numbers of local people from all streams of life turned up. 

As attack was made by unidentified miscreants on running bike, name of a suspect appeared in FIR filed in local police station. And the suspect is reported to be major donor of advertisement in theses print media houses, they chosen only to stay away from any such events in favor of me.

 I was reported that my oppositions are being backed up by almost all corrupts, realtors and some white collar criminals, which stories I carried earlier. Before adopting the profession of journalism, I swore in to become the voice of voiceless and kept adhered to my commitments and finally became targets of these people.  Again pledged, will keep raising public issues and keep sustaining injury until my last breadth.

मोतिहारी। राज्य सभा सांसद सह मोतिहारी संसदीय क्षेत्र के पूर्व सांसद अखिलेश प्रसाद सिंह (Ex MP Akhilesh prasad singh) शुक्रवार को एक प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में अपनी पार्टी द्वारा समर्थित विधान परिषद् के निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी महेश्वर प्रसाद सिंह (Maheshwar Singh) को समर्थन देने की अपील करते हुये राजद और एनडीए के प्रत्याशी को अपराधी और व्यवसायी कहते हुये कहा कि महेश्वर बाबु चुनाव जित चुके है सिर्फ रिजल्ट आना बाकि है वही अपराधी और व्यवसायी को लोग रिजेक्ट कर चुके है।

नाम ना लेते हुये ‘अपराधी’ शब्द का इस्तेमाल राजद (rajad RJD) प्रत्याशी बबलू देव (Babloo Dev) के लिए किया गया जबकि ‘व्यवसायी’ शब्द का इस्तेमाल एनडीए (NDA) प्रत्याशी बबलू गुप्ता (Babloo Gupta) के लिए किया गया। अब सवाल ये है कि क्या व्यवसायी होना गुनाह है अगर है तो क्या खुद अखिलेश प्रसाद सिंह किसी व्यवसाय से नहीं जुड़े है। उनके तीन-तीन फाइव स्टार होटल और हेलिकाप्टर का व्यवसाय क्या व्यवसाय नहीं है।

मुझे तो लगता है नेता गिरी तो खुद एक व्यवसाय है अगर नहीं होता तो टिकट देने को लेकर पार्टी फण्ड के नाम पर जो वसूली होती है, वो क्या है, साथ ही बड़े बड़े टेंडर और ट्रान्सफर  मैनेज करने के बदले जो वसूली होती है वो क्या है। अगर व्यवसाय करना गुनाह है तो इनके पार्टी के नेता प्रियंका एवं उनके पति के व्यवसाय पर भी तो नजर डाले।

कांग्रेस पार्टी (Congress) महेश्वर सिंह जी को अपना सपोर्ट कर रही है। इनकी पार्टी की हालत तो ये है कि महागठबंधन से दुत्कारे जाने के बाद विधान परिषद् के लिए इनकी पार्टी को कोई प्रत्याशी नहीं मिल रहा था। इनकी पार्टी के कई बड़े नेता इसी जिले में टिकट से बंचित राजद और एनडीए के नेताओं से लगातार टिकट ले लेने की मांग कर रहे थे, फिर भी जब कोई तैयार नहीं हुआ तो महेश्वर सिंह रूपी एक मजबूत नेता को अपना समर्थन देकर कांग्रेस पार्टी कालर टाइट करने में लोग लगे हुये है।

महेश्वर सिंह पूर्व से ही चुनाव की तैयारी में लगातार लगे थे और अंतिम समय में टिकट नहीं मिलने के कारण निर्दालिये ही चुनाव लड़ने की घोषणा कर दी। महेश्वर सिंह द्वारा लगातार पार्टी बदलने की प्रवृति  एक तरफ उनकी किरकिरी कर रही है वही इसका फायदा भी वे खूब उठा रहे है। कारण है तक़रीबन हर पार्टी में उनका अपना कांटेक्ट।

उधर अखिलेश प्रसाद सिंह का उनकी अपनी जाती के लोगों को नजर अंदाज़ कर दी जाये तो इस जिले में उनकी अपनी पहचान नहीं है। उस जाती का वोट भी वे पिछले विधान सभा के चुनाव में अपने बेटा आकाश के पक्ष में भुना नहीं पाए तो फिर किसी ओर को क्या दिला पाएंगे इसमें संदेह। जहाँ तक पूर्व केसरिया विधायक बबलू देव के अपराधिक पृष्ठिभूमि का सवाल है तो अखिलेश प्रसाद सिंह जब यहाँ से सांसद चुने गए थे तो विजय जुलूस गाड़ी पर उनके बगल में कौन खड़ा था। सभी अख़बारों ने प्रकाशित किया था। तब क्या वे अपराधी नहीं थे।

उसके बाद तो बबलू देव विधायक ही हो गए। यानी अपने फायदे के लिए इस्तेमाल करों फिर उसे अपराधी, व्यवसायी आदि की संज्ञा दे कर अलग कर दो। उनकी जाती से कोई पद या तो उनको मिले या उनके बेटे को। पार्टी का समझौता नहीं हुआ तो क्या हुआ किसी भी पार्टी के खेमे में सीट जाये अखिलेश बाबु का लड़का ही लडेगा या वे खुद चुनाव लड़ेंगे।

दरअसल, जब चुनाव आता है तो अखिलेश बाबु भूमिहारों का नेता बन जाते है, लेकिन जब कोई भूमिहार नेता को समर्थन की बात आती है तो वे अपने पार्टी लाइन पर बाते करेंगे। यही दोहरी नीति अखिलेश बाबु पर सवालिया निशाँन पैदा करती है।

वैसे यहाँ जाती पति की बात नहीं की जा रही है, लेकिन अगर आप चुनाव के समय जाती-पाति अपने फायदे के लिए करेंगे तो ऐसे मौके पर आप से सवाल तो जरूर पूछा जाना चाहिए की क्या बबलू देव किसी ओर जाती से आते है। आपको याद होगा कि अखिलेश बाबु का मोतिहारी से राजनीती शुरू करने के समय बबलू देव उनके कट्टर समर्थक हुआ करते थे लेकिन बबलू देव खुद चुनाव लड़ने की घोषणा करके अखिलेश प्रसाद सिंह के दुश्मनों के कोटी में चले गए।

इधर बबलू देव और महेश्वर बाबू में कांटे की टक्कर है। ऊंट किस करवट बैठेगा कहना मुस्किल है, इसमें बबलू गुप्ता भी त्रिकोण बनांते दिख रहे है, कोई बड़ी फेर बदल होगी तभी बबलू गुप्ता अपनी सीट बचा पाएंगे।

कुल्लू । जनजातीय जिला लाहौल स्पीति में ग्लेशियर गिरने से सौ से अधिक लोग फंस गए थे, जिन्हें रातभर चले रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन के दौरान सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया।





घटना सोमवार की है जब अचानक ग्लेशियर गिरने से सड़क मार्ग अवरूद्ध हो गया। जिसके कारण 100 लोग फंस गए। घटना की जानकारी जिला प्रशासन को मिली। जिसके बाद रेस्क्यू दल मौके पर पहुंचा। देर रात तक रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चला और वहां फंसे सभी लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों तक पहुंचा दिया गया।





पुलिस अधीक्षक मानव वर्मा ने बताया कि लोहनी से 119 लोगों को रेस्क्यू किया गया। इसमें 43 महिलाएं, 69 पुरुष व 7 बच्चे शामिल थे। इसके साथ रोहली से 11 पुरुष, 2 महिलाएं व 1 बच्चा रेस्क्यू किया गया है।

ग्लेशियर के कारण 16 वाहन फंस गए थे जिनमें 7 वाहन मनाली से पांगी तथा 9 वाहन पांगी से मनाली की तरफ जा रहे थे। रेस्क्यू किए गए सभी लोगों को सुरक्षित तिंदी पहुंचाया गया है।

नई दिल्ली । सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) सीमा भवानी शौर्य अभियान ‘सशक्तिकरण सवारी-2022’ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर मंगलवार सुबह 10 बजे इंडिया गेट से रवाना हुआ। बीएसएफ वाइव्स वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन की अध्यक्ष नुपुर सिंह ने सशक्तिकरण सवारी-2022 को झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।

बीएसएफ के प्रवक्ता कृष्णा राव ने बताया कि रॉयल एनफील्ड की मदद से आयोजित बीएसएफ सीमा भावानी ऑल.वुमेन डेयरडेविल मोटरसाइकिल के 36 सदस्य इंडपेक्टर हिमांशु सिरोही के नेतृत्व में 5280 किलोमीटर की यात्रा तय करेंगी। पूरी टीम प्रत्येक दिन 264 किलोमीटर की दूरी तय करेगी। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं की सकारात्मक दृश्यता बनाना है, ताकि देश भर में युवा लड़कियों और महिलाएं राष्ट्र के भविष्य को आकार देने में उनकी प्रमुख भूमिका हो।



कार्यक्रम में ध्वजारोहण समारोह के दौरान सम्मानित अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित प्रमुख महिला ओलंपियन, खिलाड़ी, द्रोणाचार्य और अर्जुन पुरस्कार विजेताओं को मुख्य अतिथि नुपुर सिंह द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया।

इन राज्यों से जायेगी सीमा भवानी



बीएसएफ सीमा भवानी शौर्य अभियान “सशक्तिकरण सवारी - 2022” दिल्ली में इंडिया गेट से शुरू होते हुए पंजाब में वाघा अटारी सीमा और गुजरात में स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी की ओर जायेगा। यह अभियान 28 मार्च 2022 को चेन्नई में अपने अंतिम गंतव्य तक पहुंचने से पहले चंडीगढ़, अमृतसर, अटारी, बीकानेर, जयपुर, उदयपुर, गांधीनगर, केवडिया, नासिक, सोलापुर, हैदराबाद, अनंतपुर, बैंगलोर और कन्याकुमारी से होकर गुजरेगा।



टीम स्कूली बच्चों, एनसीसी स्वयंसेवकों और युवाओं, विभिन्न सवारी समुदायों और दर्शकों के साथ बातचीत करेगी और पूर्वाग्रह, रूढ़िवादिता और भेदभाव से मुक्ति पर जोर देते हुए महिलाओं की क्षमताओं के बारे में जागरूकता लाने और जागरूकता लाने के इरादे से बातचीत करेगी।

फिल्म अभिनेत्री आलिया भट्ट एक तरफ जहां अपनी हालिया रिलीज फिल्म गंगूबाई काठियावाड़ी को लेकर चर्चा में हैं। वहीं अब उनकी एक और नई फिल्म का ऐलान हुआ है। इस नई फिल्म के जरिये आलिया भट्ट हॉलीवुड में डेब्यू करने जा रही हैं । इस फिल्म का नाम होगा 'हार्ट ऑफ़ स्टोन'।फिल्म में आलिया भट्ट मशहूर हॉलीवुड एक्ट्रेस गैल गैडोट के साथ अभिनय करती नजर आएंगी।

'हार्ट ऑफ स्टोन' एक स्पाई थ्रिलर फिल्म होगी। फिल्म का डायरेक्शन टॉम हार्पर करने जा रहे हैं। यह फिल्म नेटफ्लिक्स पर रिलीज होगी। फिल्म में गल गडोट एक जासूस के किरदार में नजर आने वाली हैं। हालांकि आलिया भट्ट के किरदार के बारे में अभी तक सस्पेंस बरकरार है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार इस फिल्म की शूटिंग भी शुरू हो चुकी है, लेकिन आलिया भट्ट टीम को कब से ज्वाइन करेंगी इस बारे में भी अभी कोई जानकारी नहीं है। फिलहाल आलिया के हॉलीवुड डेब्यू करने से आलिया के साथ -साथ उनके फैंस भी काफी एक्साइटेड हैं। 'हार्ट ऑफ़ स्टोन' के अलावा आलिया भट्ट जल्द ही फिल्म 'आरआरआर' , ब्रह्मास्त्र ,डार्लिंग्स, रॉकी और रानी की प्रेम कहानी में नजर आएंगी।

कृति सेनन और कार्तिक आर्यन की फिल्म शहजादा काफी समय से चर्चा में है। हाल ही में फिल्म के दोनों लीड कलाकारों ने फिल्म के एक और शेड्यूल की शूटिंग पूरी कर ली है। इसकी जानकारी कृति और कार्तिक ने अपने आधिकारिक इंस्टाग्राम पर एक सेल्फी शेयर कर दी है। तस्वीर को इंस्टाग्राम पर शेयर कर उन्होंने लिखा, शहजादा का एक और शेड्यूल रैप हुआ।

गौरतलब है कि फिल्म शहजादा की घोषणा पिछले साल हुई थी। इस फिल्म के जरिये कृति और कार्तिक लगभग तीन साल के बाद दुबारा साथ में स्क्रीन शेयर कर रहे हैं। इससे पहले दोनों फिल्म लुका छिपी में नजर आये थे। फिल्म शहजादा में कार्तिक और कृति के अलावा परेश रावल, मनीष रावल और रोनित बोस रॉय भी अहम भूमिका में नजर आयेंगे। यह फिल्म साउथ की अला वैकुंठपुरमलो का हिंदी रीमेक है, जिसका नाम शहज़ादा रखा गया है। फिल्म को रोहित धवन निर्देशित कर रहे हैं। यह फिल्म इसी साल 4 नवंबर को सिनेमाघरों में दस्तक देगी ।

नई दिल्ली । बाहरी उत्तरी जिले के बवाना इलाके में मंगलवार सुबह अचानक एक फैक्टरी में आग लग गई। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय पुलिस एवं अलग-अलग दमकल स्टेशनों से करीब 28 गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंची। खबर लिखे जाने तक दमकलकर्मी की टीम आग बुझाने में लगी है। राहत की बात यह है कि अभी तक किसी के हताहत होने या घायल होने की सूचना नहीं है।

दमकल विभाग के निदेशक अतुल गर्ग ने बताया कि सुबह 7:46 पर आग लगने की सूचना मिली थी। मौके पर मौजूद दमकलकर्मियों ने बताया कि आग इतनी भीषण है कि दो बिल्डिंग उसकी चपेट में आ गई। लगभग दोनों बिल्डिंग 250-250 गज की हैं। आग पूरी बिल्डिंग में लगी हुई है। गर्ग ने बताया कि जिस फैक्टरी में आग लगी है, वहां प्लास्टिक के दाने बनते हैं।

मोतिहारी। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर आज समाहरणालय परिसर से जिला बाल संरक्षण इकाई,इनरव्हील क्लब ऑफ मोतिहारी एवं लेक टाउन के तत्वाधान में प्रभात फेरी निकाले गये। प्रभातफेरी को जिलाधिकारी शीर्षत कपिल अशोक ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। जब महिला में शक्ति होगी,तभी राष्ट्र की उन्नति होगी,नारी को शिक्षा और सम्मान इससे होगा देश महान,आओ मिलकर करें उन्हें नमन जिन्होंने दिया मानवता को जीवन,शिक्षित नारी शिक्षित समाज इसी से होगा देश का विकास जैसे नारे लगाती महिलाओं का जत्था पूरे नगर का भ्रमण किया। इस अवसर पर डीपीओ आईसीडीएस सहायक निदेशक बाल संरक्षण इकाई जिला जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी महिला पुलिस पदाधिकारी सीडीपीओ एवं शहर के जागरूक नागरिको के साथ बडी संख्या मे महिलाएं उपस्थित थे।

बेगूसराय । दक्षिण भारत में बनने वाली फिल्में भारतीय समाज में सदियों से व्याप्त उत्पीड़न और उससे उपजे प्रतिरोध के स्वर को नई आवाज दे रही है, यह हिन्दी फिल्मों को भी नया रास्ता दिखा रही है। यह बातें साउथ की फिल्मों से कलात्मक जिंदगी की शुरुआत कर 11 भाषाओं में दो सौ से अधिक फिल्मों में अभिनय कर चुके अभिनेता आशीष विद्यार्थी ने कही है। द्रोहकाल, नाजायज, जिद्दी, वास्तव आदि दर्जनों फिल्मों में अपने अभिनय का लोहा मनवा चुके आशीष विद्यार्थी ने कहा है कि रंगमंच और कला के क्षेत्र में बड़े बदलाव हो रहे हैं। बड़े स्तर पर नाटक खेले जा रहे हैं, सोचे जा रहे हैं, दिमाग की बत्ती जल रही जली है, तमाम चीजें इंप्रूव हो रही है।

बेगूसराय में चल रहे द्वितीय राष्ट्रीय नाट्य महोत्सव रंग उत्सव में आए आशीष विद्यार्थी ने हिन्दुस्थान समाचार के साथ विशेष बातचीत में कहा कि तमाम चीजें बदल रही है, बदलते दौर के साथ कला में भी बदलाव आ रहा है, कला लगातार सवाल पूछती है। लेकिन सवाल सिर्फ राजनीति और सरकार से नहीं होती है, बल्कि सवाल होते हैं सोच को लेकर। हम जिंदगी के संबंध में क्या सोचते हैं, कला यही माहौल तैयार करता है, जहां हम बताते हैं कि वह जो तुम चाहते हो वह सच्चा बन सकता है। कोई भी चीज किसी को पसंद नहीं आ रही है, लगता है और करें तो कला से शुरू करें, क्योंकि कला बदलाव सीड क्रियेविटी से शुरू होती है। कलाकार कहते और जताते हैं कि वह जो कहते हैं यह अंत नहीं है, जिंदगी अभी बाकी है और भी बहुत कुछ हो सकता है। इसलिए कहा जाता है कि आर्ट एक जीवंत फॉर्म है।



साउथ और हिंदी फिल्मों में अंतर के मुद्दे पर उन्होंने कहा कि अलग-अलग समय में, अलग-अलग जगहों पर, अलग-अलग तरह की फिल्में बनती है, इसलिए जगह के विवाद में नहीं फंसना चाहिए। आशीष विद्यार्थी ने कहा कि अब ओटीटी का समय चल रहा है, ओटीटी के इस दौर में अलग-अलग विचार के फिल्मों की जरूरत है। यह बेहतरीन मौका है जब विचारों के आधार पर अलग-अलग फिल्में बन सकती है। अगर आपको लगता है कि आपके विचार पर फिल्में बन सकती है तो आगे आकर लिख सकते हैं, फिल्म और थिएटर करके लोगों तक अपनी बात पहुंचा सकते हैं। साउथ में जिस तरह की फिल्में बन रही है, वह अन्य राज्यों से अलग है। आर्ट, सोच, फिल्म और थिएटर उनसब चीजों को प्रज्वलित करेगा, जो समय की मांग है जैसा लोग चाहते हैं।



उन्होंने कहा कि इस समय साउथ में अच्छी फिल्में बन रही है, मानवता के ऊपर बदलाव का यह बेहतर तरीका है। आप जिस कॉज में यकीन रखते हैं, उसी के आधार पर सिर्फ फिल्म ही नहीं बने, बल्कि लेखन और थिएटर भी हो सकता है। साउथ ने फिल्मों और फिल्मी दुनिया को नया रास्ता दिखाया है, आज के दौर में हिंदी सिनेमा को उससे सीख लेनी चाहिए, अच्छे मुद्दों को लेकर फिल्म बननी चाहिए। थिएटर के साथ नए आयामों से जिंदगी को जारी रखने वाले नायक उनकी पसंद हैं। नामचीन लोगों को नायक समझना, उनकी तारीफ करके कुछ करना क्लैपट्रैप है। मेरे लिए अनजान लोग नायक हैं, जो अपनी जिंदगी में दूसरों की उन्नति के लिए कुछ खास करते हैं, ऐसे लोगों की कहानी सामने ला रहे हैं जिनकी कहानी चर्चित लोग नहीं सुना सकते।

लखनऊ । मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि भगवान राम के भव्य मंदिर का निर्माण होना चाहिए। इसके लिए मैं आपका साथ मांगने आया हूं। अम्बेडकर नगर की जनता को भोजन भरी थाली याद रखनी है और गठबंधन के उम्मीदवार को जिताना है।







अम्बेडकर नगर के कटेहरी में निषाद-भाजपा गठबंधन के उम्मीदवार अवधेश द्विवेदी के पक्ष में शनिवार को जनसभा को सम्बोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री योगी ने कहा कि ईद, मोहर्रम में बिजली आती थी। होली, दिवाली पर गुम हो जाती थी। हमने बिना भेदभाव के बिजली उपलब्ध करायी। प्रदेश में 24 घंटे बिजली उपलब्ध करायी गयी है।







मुख्यमंत्री योगी ने कहा कि राममनोहर लोहिया की कही बातों को कौन कहां माना है। लोहिया कहते थे कि एक सच्चे समाजवादी को संपत्ति और संतप्ति से दूरी रखनी चाहिए। आज का समाजवाद कहां लोहिया को मानता है। समाजवादी नारा बदल गया है, अब तो सबका साथ और सिर्फ सैफई खानदान के विकास की बात हो रही है।







योगी ने कहा कि उप्र की जनता को फ्री में वैक्सीन मिली है। आपदा में वैक्सीन उपलब्ध करायी गयी है। सपा की सरकार होती तो ये वैक्सीन ब्लैक हो जाती। गरीब को वैक्सीन के साथ राशन भी उपलब्ध कराया गया। वर्ष 2012 से 2017 के बीच ये सारा पैसा समाजवादी पार्टी के लोग खा जाते थे। उससे पहले बहन जी का हाथी खा जाता है। जो गरीबों का राशन खाने वाले हैं, उनके लिए ही बुलडोजर बना है।







उन्होंने कहा कि इस बुलडोजर ने पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेसवे बनाया है तो माफिया को ठीक भी कर रहा है। 10 मार्च के बाद उज्ज्वला योजना के लाभार्थी के पास सिलेन्डर फ्री होगी। माताओं और बहनों को फ्री बस यात्रा देंगे। सुमंगला योजना की राशि 25 हजार देंगे। बेटी की शादी के लिए एक लाख देंगे। विकलांगजन, विधवाजन को 18 हजार देने का प्रस्ताव है। युवाओं को स्मार्ट फोन देंगे।

MOTIHARI: Mahatma Gandhi – an anti- colonial nationalists and George Orwell- a British writer - both the iconic figures on the planet are under the radar of anti social elements in Motihari of late. Owing to their strong links with the soil of Champaran and their outstanding contributions to humanity-undoubtedly, they are our heroes, who enriched the glories of this Bihar’s district Champaran -clinching Indo-Nepal border.  While father of nation experimented his worldly acclaimed arms ‘truth and non violence on the soils of Champaran in 1917 during Champaran Satyagrah, George Orwell- the millennium writer, born here in 1903 but enriched the world literature English making scathing attack on imperialism and totalitarianism. Gandhi launched his first disobedience movements against the British dispensation in 1917. 

His first basic school founded in Bhitiharwa village near Motihari is reminding us to what extent Gandhi was sensitive for the upliftment of then Champaran folk.  Despite being an employee in the British imperial police, George Orwell- our son of soil continued to attack imperialism and colonial systems. His two best sellers ‘Animal farm’ and ‘1984’ was enough to make pride on this son of soil. But what we are repaying to both. Gandhi and Orwell both are being insulted here. Incidents of attack and insult on Gandhi statue was reported from Charkha Park in Motihari and from Turkauliya a few days ago . A principal of Motihari Mangal seminary was also accused of insulting Mahatma Gandhi, whose picture was sketched  on the school's wall but his face was covered with a poster of school and Gandhi presence amid garbage.

This ignited district administration to such an extent that they visited these places at night to locate anti- social elements and ensured security of these sites to the media. The George Orwell statue too was damaged a few years ago. A section of citizens had been protesting the proposed literature park on the birthplace of Orwell. They averred that as Orwell belongs to an English man, why should they be glorified. The English men exploited our forefathers and slave the nation for years, the claimed.

State government however declared the site as protected but there is nothing protected at the site. While stray pigs roaming around the Eric birthplace turned the site into a virtual animal farm, the druggists and gamblers find the place as safest as there is no permanent guards to guard the site located close to SNS College in Motihari.

Not everything bad, there are two organizations, who remind citizens of the presence of Eric time and again. Firstly, the Rotary lake town Motihari-the organization led by Devpriye Mookherjee celebrates Eric's birth and death anniversary almost every year and PG English department of Munshi Singh College through organizing symposiums.  

A few days ago, a symposium was organized to commemorate George Orwell in MS College. Principal Prof (Dr) Arun Mishra and Department head Prof(Dr) Ekbal Hussai both ensured the arrival of a good number of scholars across the state including district magistrate of east Champaran Shirshat Kapil Ashok.

While releasing a book edited and written by Prof Ekbal Hussain entitled ‘Making art out of politics’,DM assured beatification of Orwell birthplace. The chief orator Prof (Dr)  Sanjeev Kumar Mishra and Prof (Dr) Umesh Patra of Mahatma Gandhi central university delved deep into the literary works of George Orwell.
