अग़वा छात्रा सकुशल बरामद, दो अभियुक्त गिरफ्तार

अभियुक्तों ने वादिनी की पुत्री को स्कूल से घर लौटने के दौरान अपहरण कर लिया था। मामले की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए छात्रा को बरामद किया और दोनों अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

मोतिहारी। तुरकौलिया थाना अंतर्गत कांड संख्या–36/26 (पोक्सो एक्ट), दिनांक 19 जनवरी 2026 को दर्ज मामले में पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए अग़वा छात्रा को सकुशल बरामद कर लिया है। इस कांड में नामजद दो अभियुक्तों को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

गिरफ्तार अभियुक्तों की पहचान राज कुमार, पिता–रमेश चौधरी एवं कारण कुमार, पिता–स्व. उमेश चौधरी, दोनों निवासी–कोरैया, थाना–तुरकौलिया, जिला–पूर्वी चंपारण (मोतिहारी) के रूप में की गई है।

पुलिस के अनुसार आरोप है कि अभियुक्तों ने वादिनी की पुत्री को स्कूल से घर लौटने के दौरान अपहरण कर लिया था। मामले की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए छात्रा को बरामद किया और दोनों अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

गिरफ्तार अभियुक्तों के विरुद्ध पोक्सो अधिनियम सहित संबंधित धाराओं के तहत अग्रिम कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है। पुलिस प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि नाबालिगों से जुड़े अपराधों में किसी भी तरह की लापरवाही नहीं बरती जाएगी और दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

पूर्वी चंपारण। ज़िले में मासूम बच्चों की गुमशुदगी अब सिर्फ खबर नहीं, बल्कि हर घर की चिंता बन चुकी है। बच्चा चोर गिरोह के सक्रिय होने की आशंका के बीच दो नन्हे बच्चों के गायब होने की घटनाओं ने पूरे इलाके को झकझोर दिया है।

एक घटना हालिया है तो दूसरी को पूरे एक सप्ताह बीत चुके हैं, लेकिन पुलिस के तमाम प्रयासों के बावजूद अब तक कोई ठोस सफलता हाथ नहीं लगी है।

ताजा मामला चकिया थाना क्षेत्र का है। ग्राम गंगा सिरसिया से 11 माह का अद्यांश कुमार रात के समय अपने घर से रहस्यमय ढंग से लापता हो गया। पिता धर्मेन्द्र राम और माता कविता देवी हर पल किसी चमत्कार की उम्मीद में दरवाजे की ओर टकटकी लगाए बैठे हैं। बच्चे के रोने की आवाज़ सुनने को तरस चुके माता-पिता का दर्द शब्दों में बयां नहीं किया जा सकता।

वहीं मधुबन थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम कंशपकड़ी में हुई घटना को अब एक सप्ताह से अधिक समय बीत चुका है। डेढ़ साल की मासूम बच्ची मणिकर्णि उर्फ मनिया घर के दरवाजे पर खेलते-खेलते गायब हो गई थी।

इस मामले में पुलिस ने गंभीरता दिखाते हुए बच्ची की सूचना देने वाले को 50000 इनाम देने की घोषणा भी की, लेकिन तमाम घोषणाओं और छापेमारी के बावजूद बच्ची का अब तक कोई सुराग नहीं मिल सका है।

हर गुजरता दिन परिवार की उम्मीद को और कमजोर करता जा रहा है।

बच्चा चोरी क़ी घटनाओं ने ज़िले की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि जांच जारी है सूचनाएं एकत्रित क़ी जा रही है और संभावित ठिकानों पर लगातार दबिश दी जा रही है।

पुलिस अधीक्षक मोतिहारी ने आम लोगों से अपील की है कि वे सतर्क रहें, बच्चों को अकेला न छोड़ें और किसी भी संदिग्ध व्यक्ति या गतिविधि की सूचना तुरंत पुलिस को दें।

गांव की गलियों से लेकर शहर की सड़कों तक डर का साया है। हर मां अपने बच्चे को सीने से लगाए सहमी हुई है। सवाल सिर्फ इतना है—क्या ये मासूम जल्द अपने घर लौट पाएंगे?

मोतिहारी : जिले की पुलिस के बेहतर कार्यों के बाद भी हत्या जैसी जघन्य वारदातें थमने का नाम नहीं ले रही | भाई के द्वारा भाई की हत्या, दोस्त के द्वारा दोस्त ही हत्या और पति द्वारा पत्नी की हत्या जैसी घटनाएं अब आम होती दिख रही है | इन घटनाओं के बाद पुलिस की कार्रवाईयों पर कोई सवाल नहीं है, परंतु इतने सख्त कानून और कार्रवाईयों के बाद भी ऐसी घटनाओं मे बदस्तूर इजाफ़ा सवालों मे है | जिले मे पिछले बीस दिन मे पाँच हत्या, जिसमे दो संगठित अपराध का परिणाम बताया जाता है |

हरसिद्धि के गिवाढार मे विधवा मंजु देवी की निर्मम हत्या, दरपा थाना क्षेत्र तीन कोनी गाँव मे सगे बड़े भाई ने छोटे भी सुनील सिंह को गोली मार दी, अरेराज के रडिया गाँव के पास शिक्षा बिभाग मे कार्यरत कुबेर पांडे उर्फ अभिनंदन पांडे को गोली मार हत्या कर दी गई, इस मामले मे भी सगे भाई द्वारा हत्या के कान्ट्रैक्ट दिए जाने की बात कही गई, उसके पहले रडिया गाँव निवासी विवेक सिंह को रघुनाथपूर के लक्ष्मीपुर मे गोली मार हत्या कर दी गई |

यह हत्या जिगरी दोस्त झूना सिंह उर्फ़ मोहित सिंह द्वारा खुद से की गई, डुमरियाघाट के रमपुरवा मे अपने ही सगे पट्टीदार मोहम्मद शहाबुद्दीन को गोली मार हत्या कर दी गई | ये सभी बारदाते 20 दिनों के भीतर की है |

इसमे मंजु देवी हत्याकांड मे पुलिस किसी खास नतीजे पर नहीं पहुँच सकी है, मंजु के घर मे ही उसे गर्दन रेत कर हत्या की गई थी और उसकी एक बालिग लड़की को गायब होने की बात कही जा रही है | तीनकोनी निवासी सुनील सिंह के हत्यारे भाई पंकज सिंह को पुलिस ने हथियार के साथ गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया | डुमरियाघाट वाले मामले मे हत्यारे भाई की गिरफ़्तारी घटना के दो घंटे के भीतर हो गई |

इन हत्याओं की शृंखला मे कुबेर पांडे और विवेक सिंह दोनों ही घटना भले ही भाई और दोस्त द्वारा कारित बताई जा रही है, परंतु पुलिस के बयानों और अनुसंधानों पर भरोसा करें तो दोनों ही घटना एक संगठित गिरोह द्वारा कारित प्रतीत हुई | इन ‘शूट- आउट’ मे कॉन्ट्रैक्ट किलर्स और भू-माफियाओं की ‘स्वीकृत भागीदारी’ सामने आई है |

विवेक सिंह हत्याकांड मे दोस्त झूना, बाइक चालक रमानंद ठाकुर और हथियार सप्लायर चंदन सिंघानिया तो जेल भेज दिए गए, लेकिन मोतिहारी एसपी स्वर्ण प्रभात के अनुसार झूना ने घटना मे शामिल कुछ और लोगों का नाम पुलिस को बताया था, बाद मे चंदन सिंघानिया ने भी कुछ लोगों का नाम बताया, जो संगठित रूप से विवेक के पीछे लगे थे | लेकिन इन साजिशकर्ताओं के चेहरे से घटना के 19 दिन बाद भी पर्दा नहीं उठना सवालों मे है |

मोतिहारी एसपी तब एसआईटी को इन लोगों के विरुद्ध साक्ष्य जुटाने के निर्देश दिए थे, परंतु ऐसा प्रतीत होता है की एसआईटी मामले को या तो ठंडे बस्ते मे डाल दी है या फिर साक्ष्य जुटाने से पेरहेज कर रही है | हो सकता है कुछ व्हाइट कॉलर का इन साजिशकर्ताओं को संरक्षण प्राप्त हो रहे हो | फिर भी विवेक सिंह मामले मे चार्जशीट फाइल होने तक किसी तरह के अंदेशाओं पर भरोसा करना जायज नहीं है |

इधर कुबेर पांडे मामले मे पुलिस ने शार्प शूटर बाबर सहित हत्यारा भाई और तीन अन्य साजिशकर्ता, लाइनर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है | बाकी तीन अन्य को गिरफ्तार करने की बात कही जा रही है | अरेराज अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी रंजन कुमार ने मंगलवार को एक प्रेस मीट मे हत्या की पीछे की कहानी शेयर करते हुये, शूटर बाबर आजम, लायनर उज्जवल पांडे, मानिर आलम और अभिमन्यु कुमार को मीडिया के सामने प्रस्तुत किया |

MOTIHARI: This is a New Year image. Most beautiful, Isn’t it? . District Magistrate (DM) Saurabh Jorwal and Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarn Prabhat of East Champaran district together are on the path of humanity. Donating blood on the call of Bihar state blood donation council on Friday.

The district administration, on the occasion organized camps and inaugurated a vehicle for a mobile blood donation camp, which draws good numbers of donors. As many as 130 police personnel alone from many police stations in the district were seen donating bloods at the various locations, especially from Chakia, Dumarighat and Harsiddhi police stations in east champaran district.

SP Swarn Prabhat said that a blood donation camp was also organized in the Motihari police line, where SP and DM both donated their blood. Two mobile sub-divisional vehicles being facilitated for blood donation have been sent in Chakiya and Areraj subdivision and on Saturday, a blood donation camp will also be organized in Raxaul, Dhaka and Pakadidayal subdivisions.

SP described blood donation as the real service to humanity as it could save millions of lives. He said that the blood donors were the real heroes as they play key roles in helping people in need. He called for more and more people, especially the youngsters, to come forward to donate blood and become active partners in this noble cause.

It is to be noted here that entire blood banks in Bihar are facing severe shortages of blood. The needy people either have to take blood from professional donors or lose their patient in need of blood. The professional donors provide blood with a number of fresh diseases transmitting in patients.

Abhinandan Murder case solved, Police claims it's a shocking tale of fratricide

The Abhinandan murder case has been solved, and it's a shocking tale of fratricide. Abhinandan Pandey, a native of Laukahan Pakadiya in Bihar's East Champaran district, was found dead on a state highway near Radhiya village on December 31. Initially, the police thought it was a road accident, but an autopsy revealed a bullet mark and profuse bleeding as the cause of death.

A special investigation team (SIT) led by SDPO, Areraj dug deeper and picked up two suspects. The interrogation revealed that Abhinandan's own brother, Lokesh Pandey, had hired a contract killer for Rs 1 lakh to eliminate him and gain control over their shared properties. Lokesh has confessed to the crime, and the police are now on the hunt for the shooter.

It's a disturbing case of sibling rivalry turned deadly, and the police are commended for cracking it quickly.

MOTIHARI: IN a country, where Lord Rama’s brother Lakshaman and Bharat fulfilled their duties, setting an example of great sacrifice and devotion, a ‘Kalyugi brother allegedly killed his own brother in a property dispute in Gobindganj police station area in Bihar’s East Champaran district.

The body of Abhinandan Pandey was found lying on a state highway near Radhiya village under Gobindganj police station on 31 December last, which was recovered by police on local’s calls.

The deceased- a native of Laukahan Pakadiya under Pahadpur police station area was posted in BRC Pahadpur in education department. He was eliminated by a contract killer at the time he was returning from his duties. Two unidentified gunners riding on a bike shot him very close blank range and killed him on spot, police said.

Killing was meticulously planned so that apart from family members, local police took it as a case of road accident initially. “They sent the body to Motihari Sadar hospital with enquests of a road accident to undertake an autopsy, but the doctor, while undertaking the autopsy, found a bullet mark on the deceased’s body and observed profuse bleeding led to his death.

The mysteries behind this fratricide came to light when a special investigation team (SIT) constituted by superintendent of police (SP) Swarn Prabhat, delved deep into the case and picked up two suspects.

The interrogation revealed that Abhinandan’s own brother Lokesh Pandey hired a contract killer paying Rs 1 lakhs and eliminated him to control properties in deceased shares.

A press communiqués issued by district police headquarter reads that Lokesh Pandey-the fratricide admitted that his contract killer eliminated Abhinandan aks Kuber at his behest.

Sub-divisional police officer, Areraj Ranjan Kumar, who led the SIT told that his police team is running after shooter to arrest him and commended the proper coordinations of SHO Gobindganj Raju Kumar, SHO Pahadpur Jitendra Kumar and their team for cracking the case before time.

पुलिस ने बताया कि गोबिंदगंज के रडिया गाँव के करीब कुबेर पांडे सड़क पर गिरे हुये नजर आए, ग्रामीणों ने स्थानीय थाना को फोन किया | हत्या इतनी सावधानी से की गई थी कि पुलिस भी थोड़ी देर दिग्भ्रमित हो गई और दुर्घटना मे मौत की बात समझते हुये, इसे मोतिहारी सादर अस्पताल भेज दिया, परंतु जब चिकित्सक ने कपड़े हटा कर देखा तो बुलेट के निशान पाए गए |

एसपी स्वर्ण प्रभात ने घटना मे त्वरित कार्रवाई को लेकर अरेराज अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी के नेतृत्व मे एक एसआईटी का गठन किया है | पुलिस ने बताया कि घटना के उद्भेदन को लेकर पुलिस ने जांच शुरू कर दी है | प्रथम दृष्यन्त घटना जमीनी विवाद को लेकर कारित बताई जा रही है | एसडीपीओ रंजन कुमार और थाना प्रभारी घटना स्थल पर घंटों मौजूद रहे |

पहाड़पुर थाना क्षेत्र के लौकाहा, पकड़िया के रहने वाले कुबेर पांडे बड़े ही नम्र और दयालु स्वभाव के व्यक्ति थे | घटना के बाद लोग कई तरह के सवाल कर रहे है |

जानकारों ने बताया कि इसी रडिया गाँव के रहने वाले विवेक सिंह की हत्या रघुनाथपूर क्षेत्र मे कर दी गई थी | इस मामले मे हत्यारा सहित तीन लोग गिरफ्तार हो चुके है जबकि घटना मे शामिल षड्यंत्रकारियों की भी पहचान हो चुकी है, लेकिन अभी भी सभी षड्यंत्रकारी पुलिस की पकड़ से बाहर है | पुलिस साक्ष्य जुटाने की बात कह कर इन षड्यंत्रकारियों पर से पर्दा उठाने से परहेज करती दिख रही है |

Vivek Murder: Police Investigates White-Collar and Real Estate Mafia Connection In offence

On Saturday, Chandan Singhania, an arms supplier, was arrested and interrogated, revealing names of other criminals involved in the crime. Chandan Singhania has a history of criminal cases, including the Pawan Gupta murder case, for which he was jailed. The current investigation has also led to the recovery of the pistol used in Vivek's murder.

MOTIHARI: While the police are tightening their noose on all the criminals involved in the killing of realtor Vivek Thakur on 19 December at a location of Laxmipur under Raghunathpur Ps in Motihari, panic gripped among the potential conspirators in this case.

On Saturday, SIT formed in this case arrested the arms supplier Chandan Singhania son of Baidhnath Singh, Damobriti of Harsiddhi and also recovered the pistol, which was used in the murder of Vivek.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of east champaran Swarn Prabhat said, “Chandan Singhania was grilled and he also revealed names of some other criminals involved in this crime. Evidences are being collected to let axes of laws fall on them”, he said.

Chandan, including Matiyaria Pacs chief Pawan Gupta murder case, is carrying a number of criminal cases over his head. Chandan had gone to jail in the Pawan Gupta murder case. Notably, Gupta was killed in which local village representative Surendra Singh was made name accused. At the time of murder of Gupta, enraged locals attacked police, which prompted police to open fire.

Piqued over broad daylight murder, residents in huge numbers gathered at Nursing Baba Math and chalked out a series of agitations to support Vivek cause, but sensing the police's sincerity in this case, they postponed everything for the time being and adopted a wait and watch policy.

After Vivek was executed, Motihari police took the case in priority and Motihari SP himself started monitoring everything. The killer Jhunna Singh aks Mohit Singh was forced to surrender before court and court sent him to jail but police grilled Jhunna in jail for up to three hours and revealed names of many real estate mafias and white collars, who allegedly hatched conspiracy to eliminate Vivek. Names of these people are still undercover.

A police officer requesting anonymity said that, “Political pressures are mounting, but Motihari SP is not going to spare anyone who played roles in this high profile murder. Regardless of the stature of criminals and their protectors, all will be booked and brought to justice, he said.

Vivek Murder: Citizens Takes out ‘Peace cum Justice’ March For Justice

MOTIHARI : Residents across the district took out a peace cum justice march at Nursing Baba temple near Mufassil police station, condemning Vivek Thakur murder and demanding capital punishments to the killer and all the conspirators involved in this crime on Wednesday.

On a random call through social media platforms, thousands of sympathizers of Vivek and the members of civil society gathered at Nursing Baba Math at around 3.30 PM carrying billboards in their hands. The Billboard reads, “Vivek Ko Nyay Do”.

The participants were sloganeering against crime and criminals and demanding Motihari police and judicial system to hang shooters and conspirators behind Vivek's murder as soon as possible.

Expressing outrage on the cold blooded murder of real estate trader Vivek Thakur, civil society members demanded unfold the all conspirators behind murder, Dr CB Singh told “we are demanding from Motihari SP to identify all the conspirators and shooters in the case and bring them to justice through speedy trial. Alok Sharma- an educationist told that murder is a cowardly act that is against humanities. District police are supposed to punish all those involved in this crime, Political activists cum ex-mukhiya of Raghunathpur Vinay Singh said, “We are conducting this peaceful protest demanding expeditious justice for this heinous crime.

While updating the case’s investigation, Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarn Prabhat said that Jhunna Singh aks Mohit Singh admitted that he killed Vivek thakur, During interrogation in Motihari central jail, arms supplier and some real estate mafias has been identified. Police are collecting evidence against all these people for further actions.

Notably, on Monday, Jhunna Singh-the prime accused in the case, surrendered before a court in Motihari after police mounted excessive pressures on Jhunna’s families. On the admission of Jhunna in the court, Police arrested Ramanand Thakur, who rode bike at the time of murder Jhunna and Ramanand Thakur both are native of Murarpur village under Harsiddhi police station.

The police in East Champaran district have made significant progress in the Vivek Thakur murder case. They've identified the shooter and conspirator, thanks to the Special Investigation Team's (SIT) scientific and quick investigation. The prime accused, Jhunna Singh, is a business partner of the deceased, Vivek Thakur.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarn Prabhat, Jhunna and his accomplice eliminated Vivek to take control of his money. The police have found transactions worth crores of rupees in Jhunna's bank accounts. They've also recovered CCTV footage showing Jhunna and his associate fleeing the crime scene.

MOTIHARI: Thursday’s shocking murder of a business man Vivek Thakur-what police called a targeted killing, is about to be uncovered. District police claimed on Friday that it has identified the shooter and the conspirator both-thanks to the scientific and quick investigations of the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

Superintendent of Police of East Champaran district Swarn Prabhat through a whattup communiqué said that assailants have been caught in the CCTV footage and modus operandi of crime has been recorded. Investigation revealed that one Jhunna Singh, son of Sanjay Singh, village Murarpur under Harsiddhi police station is found to be the prime accused in the case that killed Vivel Thakur to eat away his huge amount that had been kept by Jhunna. Jhunaa and Vivek both are business partners, he said.

CCTV Footage Before Killing

Detailing the SIT investigations, SP said that police went through the bank accounts of Jhunna, where transactions of crores of rupees were found. Jhunna and his accomplice eliminated Vivek to eat away his amount.

On the pretext of petrol, Jhunaa called Vivek and shot in his head in very close blank range and fled sitting behind his accomplice’s pulsar bike leaving behind his hamlet that police recovered from the crime scene.

SP further said that only the arrest of Jhunna, the other conspirators and associates, who helped in murder will be revealed. Police have procured another CCTV footage, which shows Jhunna coming from bike with his associate. The investigating officer has been instructed to include CCTV footage in the case diary so that culprits could be brought to justice in trial.

Vivek was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne gunmen on Thursday morning, sending shockwaves through the community. MOTIHARI: In a dramatic shootout on the outskirts of Motihari, two motorcycle born gunners shot dead trader Vivek Singh- a resident of Radhiya village under Sangrampur police station area in east champaran district on Thursday.

In morning, Vivek was going on his bike, when he was intercepted in Balganga locality and shot from very close blank range on the head and hand, police said adding “Doctors declared him brought dead leading motihari police to begin investigations and identify those involved in this incident.

Vivek –the deceased got married a few months ago and he has a great fan following among the youths. As the incident spread like wildfire, people thronged in Motihari Sadar Hospital, where autopsy of Vivek’s body was undertaken amid huge security arrangements.

Locals said that Vivek was sitting near his house when one of his staff asked him to go somewhere else with him. Later on the family came to know that he was killed. Cremation performed in Raghunathpur localities, where huge numbers of crowd gathers.

State congress Chief Dr Akhilesh Prasad Singh mourned the untimely demise of Vivek and condemned the cowardly acts of unbridled criminals in the state. He also consoled next to the family members of the deceased demanding immediate arrests of culprits involved in this crime. Besides, Mamta Ray district board chairman also consoled aggrieved family members demanding prompt action from district police administrations in this case.
