मोतिहारी : अपराध और अपराधियों के प्रति “ज़ीरो टोलेरेन्स” अख्तियार करने वाले जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक स्वर्ण प्रभात इन दिनों पुलिस टीम पर हमला करने वाले तत्वों की कब्र खोदने मे जुट गए है, साथ ही ऐसे तत्वों से निपटने को लेकर उन्होंने एक बेहतर जुगाड़ भी अपने पुलिस के हवाले कर दी है |

बता दे कि जिले के पहाड़पुर थाना क्षेत्र स्थित लिपनी गाँव मे अपहरण की शिकार एक लड़की संबंधित मुकदमे की जांच करने गए पुलिस टीम पर हमले के बाद पुलिस अधीक्षक खासे आक्रामक हो गए और जिले के पुलिस अधिकारियों की एक बैठक बुला कर सभी क्षेत्रों से पुलिस पर हुये हमलों से संबंधित अभियुक्तों के विरुद् एक विशेष “क्रैक डाउन” शुरू करने का आदेश दे दिया, जिसमे 24 घंटे के भीतर ही 42 अभियुक्तों को पकड़ कर जेल के सलाखों के पीछे भेज दिया गया है |

लिपनी गाँव वाले वायरल विडिओ मे दिख रहा एक पुलिस अधिकारी हमले के बाद हाँथ मे पिस्टल निकाल लेता है, ताकि लोग डर जाए, फिर भी ग्रामीण मार- मार कर अधिकारी के सर फोड़ देता है | मामले मे मुन्ना कुमार और सोनू कुमार नामक दो पुलिस कर्मी बुरी तरह से जखमी हो गए थे |

मामले के तुरंत बाद एक महिला अनीता कुमारी को पुलिस ने पकड़ लिया था, परंतु शनिवार को उक्त मामले मे दो और अभियुक्त कपिलदेव कुमार और संजय कुमार पकड़े गए है | मामले मे कुल सात नामजद तथा 10-से 15 अप्राथमिक अभियुक्तों की गिरफ़्तारी को लेकर पुलिस अधीक्षक ने ना केवल थानाध्यक्ष की सैलरी रोकी है, बल्कि अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी, अरेराज रंजन कुमार और स्थानीय सर्कल इन्स्पेक्टर से शो कॉज़ करते हुए घटना मे कार्रवाई मे देरी का कारण भी पूछा है |

यही नहीं पुलिस अधीक्षक ने अपने अधिकारियों को हथियार के साथ- साथ डीआरडीओ निर्मित चिली ग्रेनेड से लैश रहने का आदेश दिया है | इसके लिए एजेंसी से बड़ी मात्रा मे चिली स्प्रे और ग्रेनेड की मांग की गई है, ताकि ऐसे भीड़ से निपटा जा सके|

बताया गया कि नॉर्थ पूर्व के कई राज्यों सहित आर्मी और पारा मिलिटरी फोर्स के लोग इस “चिली ग्रेनेड” का इस्तेमाल करते रहे है | इसका पहला ट्रायल वेस्ट बंगाल मे हुई, फिर हरियाणा और दिल्ली मे भी भीड़ को तितर- बितर करने मे इसका कई बार इस्तेमाल हुआ है | इसमे खास मिर्च के इस्तेमाल होने के कारण लोगों के शरीर मे भारी जलन शुरू हो जाती है, फिर लोग भागने लगते है |

उल्लेखनीय है कि पूर्व मे जिले मे कई जगह पुलिस टीम पर हमला किया गया | ऐसे हमले विशेष कर शराब के ठिकानों पर छापेमारी के दरमियान हुई बताई जाती है | वर्षों पूर्व के कई ऐसे मामलों के अभियुक्त आज भी खुलेआम घूम रहे है, जिसमे से कइयों को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है | ऐसे मामलों के ज्यादातर अभियुक्तों को जिले के नेताओं के संरक्षण प्राप्त होते है |

MOTIHARI: Motihari Police are facing hard times of late. Although 48 hours is not enough to catch accused persons practically if they are fleeing, yet Motihari police have to show its performances or else the preparation to let the axe fall on them will begin.

Superintendent of police (SP) of Bihar’s East Champaran district Swarn Prabhat, who hit the headlines ever since he joined Motihari is likely to spare none if he finds any laxity in any case by any officials. No matter if they are SDPO or SHO or any one.

In the run up of SP’s exemplary actions to improve law and order, he served show cause notice to circle inspector and SDPO, Areraj holding the salary of Pahadpur SHO.

This came after a police team was deadly attacked by some people injuring two of them seriously, when the police team had gone to recover and investigate a girl’s abduction case.

Piqued over the incident, SP threatened accused persons to surrender before court within 24 hours or be ready to face property confiscation. Besides, he also served show cause and held up salary to his men for ‘inordinate delays’ in arresting culprits involved in this attack.

Motihari police are facing tough times after a police team was attacked while investigating a girl's abduction case, leaving two officers seriously injured.

Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat is taking strong action, serving show-cause notices to the Circle Inspector and SDPO, Areraj, and even holding up the salary of Pahadpur SHO.

The SP has given the accused 24 hours to surrender or face property confiscation. MOTIHARI: The Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's East Champaran district has become a hotspot for drug smuggling, with law enforcement agencies regularly seizing contrabands and arresting smugglers. Despite these efforts, the problem persists, with West Champaran, East Champaran, and Sitamarhi being the primary entry points for drugs.

 In just three weeks, the district police have recovered significant quantities of Charas, Ganja, smack, and Brown Sugar, and arrested many carriers and smugglers. However, the prohibition law in Bihar has inadvertently led to an increase in other intoxicants, with opposition parties criticizing its failure. Drugs dealers have adapted to the increased police scrutiny by employing women and children as couriers, making law enforcement jobs even more challenging.

 A data made available by district police headquarter suggested that in the last three weeks only, district police have recovered huge quantities of Charas,Ganja, smack and Brown Sugar. The press notes reads16 Kg Ganja, 25.629 kg Charas, Smack 200 gm and 216 gram brown Sugar was recovered from various locations of border.

 East Champaran’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarn Prabhat has taken a strong stance against drug smugglers, arresting syndicate members and strengthening intelligence in border villages. He emphasizes the need for parents to be vigilant and keep an eye on their children, as drug dealers are now using women and children as couriers.

Challenges in Combating Drug Addiction:

 - Lack of De-addiction Centers: The district has no dedicated centers for treating addiction, leaving many victims, some as young as 14, without support.

 - Adaptation by Drug Dealers: Smugglers are using women and children as couriers, making law enforcement more challenging.

 - Thriving Drug Market in Slums: The illicit trade flourishes unnoticed in slum areas.

 A Multi-Pronged Approach is Necessary:

 - Intelligence Gathering: Strengthening intelligence in border villages to anticipate and prevent smuggling.

- Community Involvement: Parents and community members must be vigilant and report suspicious activities.

 - Rehabilitation Services: Establishing de-addiction centers to support victims of addiction.

MOTIHARI: IPS Swarn Prabhat on Saturday took audacious initiative to improve law and order situations in the district handing over all 52 police stations to the hand of green horns.

Relying on young and energetic police officials and posting them on the post of deputy station house officer (Dy-SHO) in East Champaran district, he is trying to implement strictly the 'rule of law' in the district. 

Keeping in mind to improve crumpling law and order and strengthening work culture in police stations, Superintendent of police (SP) of East Champaran district had resolved to hand over police stations to young hand, a police officials told requesting anonymity.

This came after one of his deputy SHO posted in Nakardei police station found guilty of having nexus with drug smugglers and liquor mafias. He however arrested guilty KK Yadav-ASI and smuggler Md Aslam and send both of them in jail.

SP asked recommendations from DSPs and SHOs and overnight replaced this post with young officers, showing his zero tolerance policy with crime and criminals. “Most of the senior cops are indulged in corrupts practices, extorts money in the name of benefiting in police diary and all that”, a police officials said.

Along with criminals and gang lords, police officials are also appears fear stricken with stringent actions of newly posted SP Swarn Prabhat. Work culture is returning in police stations. Visitors are being well treated and their grievances are properly being listened.

What to say commons, fine is being slapped even police personnel’s found violating traffic rules and salary was held up to those police officials found delaying their patrolling schedules deliberately. Rules and law are equal for all SP believes, he said.

Uninfluenced with white collars, ghost media persons whose prime attentions has always been to have proximities with top cops in the district only to take unwanted benefits, the SP is listening all and taking rational actions.

MOTIHARI : In a macabre tale of Motihari police’s blood curdling highhandedness, a 34 year old women was forced to spent whole night in a single room of police lockup along with more than half a dozen criminals on Monday.

A video shot in a police lock up room of Harsiddhi police station goes viral on social media in which a women is seen present among notorious criminals in badly injured and battered conditions.

When video verified, it is found that video has been shot in a room next to actual  “Hajat” but SHO of this police station was using this room as Hajat ever since he joined the office.

A woman and six other male culprits have been lodged on 10 September and few of them were sent to jail very next days of their arresting. But a woman was also sent to jail after video went viral after 30 hours of her "being in illegal confinement". Husband of victim women Upendra Singh told his wife has been detained in a land dispute but framed in a fake case to save the face.   

Her husband Upendra Singh alleged “her modesty was virtually outraged as she was disrobed at the time she was beaten up on her hip and has to spend more than 30 hours in police lock up room with male persons.

Sending a letter to various women rights’ organization and chief minister of Bihar, he alleged “SHO Mahendra Prasad deliberately did all this only to appease his enemies who illegally trying to grab his land with help of local police.

 She was thrashed repeatedly by men and women in uniform in police custody in presence of these criminals. And finally she was send to jail framing her in alleged case of fake and concocted story that she attacked on police team.

“Can an alone women attack on armed police team. All that is fake and concocted”, letters reads adding when SHO sensed he will be framed in court complain case for his highhandedness he framed her in fake case.

This is not first time, when she was sent to jail by the same police. She was sent few months ago in jail for same land in dipsute and allegedly allowed second party to encroach upon the land in dispute, he alleged.

The second parties again beat her black and blue after she bailed out. All times only to benefit local real-estate mafias and high up all time ended up with mysterious silence. 

Araraj DSP Ranjan Kumar said he is investigating the videos and other allegation being leveled on SHO.

मोतिहारी पुलिस ने तीन नाबालिग को हथियार के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है।जानकारी के अनुसार सभी आरोपी किसी बड़ी घटना को अंजाम देने की फिराक में था।
रक्सौल ADPO धीरेंद्र कुमार को गुप्त सूचना मिली कि एक बाइक पर सवार दो अपराधी किसी घटना को अंजाम देने जा रहा है। इस घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए इसकी सूचना मोतिहारी एसपी कांतेश मिश्रा को दी गई। इस दौरान एसपी ने रक्सौल एडीपीओ के नेतृत्व में टीम बना का सघन वाहन जांच करने का निर्देश दिया।

इसी बीच छौडादानों थाना क्षेत्र के नहर रोड में वाहन जांच शुरू किया। इस दौरान पुलिस टीम को देख एक बाइक सवार दो लड़का भागने लगा। इसे वहां मौजूद पुलिस बल ने दोनों लड़कों को पकड़ लिया। जब उसकी तलाशी ली गई तो एक लड़के के पास से एक देसी कट्टा और एक गोली बरामद हुआ है। पकड़ाए दोनों लड़कों की निशानदेही पर एक अन्य लड़के को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

वहीं दूसरी ओर गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर एक महिला सहित दो तस्करों को 15 लीटर नेपाली शराब के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। इस मामले में छौड़ादानों थाना में कांड दर्ज किया गया है।

क्या कहते हैं थानाध्यक्ष

छौड़ादानो थानाध्यक्ष धूप नारायण ने बताया कि पूछताछ में दोनों आरोपियों ने लूट की घटना को अंजाम देना माना है। इसी बीच दोनों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। इसके पास से एक देसी कट्टा और एक गोली बरामद की गई है। वहीं आरोपियों एक और साथी को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।

Motihari News: मोतिहारी के टॉप 20 अपराधी के लिस्ट में शामिल कुख्यात अपराधी दीपक को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। जबकि अपराध की योजना बना रहे चार अपराधियों को हरसिद्धि पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है। गिरफ्तार अपराधियों के पास से एक देसी कट्टा गोली और मोबाइल बरामद हुआ है। इस दौरान पुलिस के सक्रियता से अपराध करने से पहले अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है।

मोतिहारी sp कांतेश कुमार मिश्रा ने बताया कि गुप्त सूचना मिली की जिले के टॉप 20 अपराधियों के लिस्ट में शामिल कुख्यात अपराधी दीपक कुंडवा चैनपुर थाना क्षेत्र के भारत नेपाल बॉर्डर के पास देखा गया है। सिकरहना एडीपीओ अशोक कुमार के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष टीम का गठन कर उक्त अपराधी की गिरफ्तारी के लिए छापेमारी की गई। इस दौरान दीपक को गिरफ्तार किया। दीपक की पांच से अधिक मामले में तलाश चल रही थी ।

हरसिद्धि में अपराध की योजना बना रहे थे

एसपी ने बताया की विशेष अभियान के तहत वाहन जांच चलाया जा रहा था। इसी बीच हरसिद्धि थाना क्षेत्र के पानापुर बाजार पर दो संदिग्ध युवक को हिरासत में लिया गया। जब उससे पूछताछ की गई तो उसने अपने अन्य साथियों के नाम का खुलासा किया। इसके बाद उससे मिली जानकारी के आधार पर अलग-अलग जगह छापेमारी कर दो और अपराधी को गिरफ्तार किया गया। उसके निशानदेही पर एक देशी कट्टा, गोली और मोबाइल बरामद हुआ।

इसने बताया की सभी लूट की घटना को अंजाम देने के फिराक में जमा हो रहे थे। तब तक पुलिस उठा ली। छापेमारी टीम में एएसपी सदर राज, अरेराज एसडीपीओ रंजन कुमार, सिकरहना एसडीपीओ अशोक कुमार, घोड़ासहन थानाध्यक्ष संतोष शर्मा, बंजारिय थानाध्यक्ष प्रभाकर पाठक, हरसिद्धि थानाध्यक्ष महेंद्र प्रसाद, सुबोध सिंह, अरुण ओझा आदि शामिल थे।

मोतिहारी में एक पिता ने जिस बेटी के शव का अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया था, पुलिस ने उसे जीवित बरामद कर लिया है। बताया जा रहा है कि बरामद किशोरी का शादी की नीयत से अपहरण किया गया था। अपरहण करने वाले युवक को भी पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है। दोनों को महाराष्ट्र से पकड़ा गया है।

बुआ के घर से हुई थी लापता

मामला कल्याणपुर थाना इलाके का है। बीते 14 जून को मुजफ्फरपुर जिले के विजय सिंह ने आवेदन देकर पुलिस से गुहार लगाई थी कि उनकी 15 वर्षीय बेटी अपनी बुआ के घर से लापता हो गई है। पिता ने अपने ही थाना क्षेत्र के निवासी 19 वर्षीय दिनेश राम पर शादी की नियत से अपहरण का आरोप लगाया था।

बताया कि उन्होंने दिनेश को पहले भी अपनी बेटी से फोन पर बात करते देखा था। उस वक्त डांट-फटकार कर छोड़ दिया था।

अज्ञात शव को बताया था अपनी बेटी का शव 

इसके बाद बीते 5 जुलाई को पंचपकरी थाना क्षेत्र के जमुआ पुल के नीचे से एक अज्ञात लड़की का शव पुलिस ने बरामद किया था। सोशल मीडिया पर उसकी तस्वीरें वायरल होने के बाद 14 जुलाई को किशोरी के पिता ने थाने में जाकर दावा किया कि यह मेरी बेटी का शव है। इस दावे की पुष्टि के लिए एसपी कांतेश मिश्रा ने डीएनए टेस्ट के लिए सैंपल भेजा था।

SIT की हुई गठन 

इधर किशोरी के अपहरण का मामला सामने आते ही चकिया एडीपीओ सतेंद्र सिंह के नेतृत्व में एसआईटी की टीम बनाई थी। एसआईटी ने किशोरी को बरामद करने के लिए तबरतोर छापेमारी जगह - जगह शुरू की। SP ने बताया कि वैज्ञानिक तरीके से की गई जांच में पता चला कि अपहृत किशोरी महाराष्ट्र में है । फिर टीम को महाराष्ट्र भेजकर किशोरी को आरोपी युवक दिनेश राम के साथ पकड़कर मोतिहारी लाया गया।

पुलिस के अनुसार किशोरी ने स्वीकार किया है कि दिनेश उसे जबरन शादी की नियत से अपहरण कर ले गया था। पुलिस फिलहाल मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई कर रही है।

NEW DELHI: Taking strong exception in inordinate delays in police action on murderous attacks on Bihar’s senior journalists Sagar Suraj in Motihari on 24 May, 2023, Bharti Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh has tweeted to Chief Minister Bihar Nitish Kumar and Chief Secretary of Bihar and demanded immediate action against the culprits involved in this incidents.

BSPS national general secretary Shahnawaz Hasan has said that the attitude of the Motihari police has not been cooperative. Since filing the FIR, not a single assailant has been identified or arrested.  

Journalist Sagar was attacked with an iron rod while he was on the way to carry out a follow up story in his local town Motihari in Bihar along with his three other associates.

The incident followed horror, grief and anger prompting locals’ journalists to call a sit-in demanding action on may 30.

The National General Secretary came down heavily on chief minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar for growing insecurities among the fourth estate of democracy in the state . “They are under fear of growing influence of Mafiya and local goons but shockingly and mysteriously the administration has kept mum on the issues.

Extent of Influence of local mafias is such that multiple fractures was inflicted on the back of Sagar Suraj but Sadar hospital authorities issued normal injuries only to help assailants. After continued pain, the victim consulted local senior doctors, who underwent an MRI and found multiple fractures on back. Senior orthopedic surgeon of Motihari Dr Rakesh Kumar and Surgeon Dr Ashutosh Sharan also opined multiple fractures.

Sagar has been under the target of land mafia, corrupt officers for his hundreds of fearless stories in The Hindustan times and Border News Mirror. His number of stories earlier published in The Hindustan Times on the murder of Mantu Sharma – a criminal cum realtor forced the court to take cognizance against one and half dozen realtors active in the localities.

 The recent stories of “illegal vegetable markets” being operated in Chatauni localities- is supposed to be the reason behind this murderous attack on Sagar Suraj. We demanded only to crack the stories behind the attack after filling a police case against unknown miscreants. We have found the images of assailants from CCTV footage but they are yet to be located by police.

MOTIHARI : Motihari police averted a major crime after it claimed to have zeroed in three criminals with country made pistol and live cartridges on Tuesday.

Acting on an accurate tip-off, IPS cum DSP Sadar Shree Raju formed a team comprising police officers of Lakhaura Out Post and Chhaudadano police station and laid a perfect trap to arrest the criminals about to  execute a major criminal incidents in the district.

While interacting with media persons, Shree Raju told that they got an Intel that criminals carrying arms and ammunitions have assembled at a location of Lakhaura. Inputs are that criminals riding on two bikes are going to commit a major crime.

“We alerted police stations in the vicinity and conducted a massive raid. All three criminals were nabbed at Barwa bridge in the locality. He said that those arrested were identified as Rajkishor Kumar, Dhananjay Kumar Singh and Dasrath Kumar. Criminal belongs to Lakhaura and Adapur localities. Police filed an FIR after they were interrogated. Police however did not share details of the crime they are going to commit for investigation reasons.

Shree Raju said out of all three arrested, Rajkishore Kumar has criminal antecedent and wanted in a loot case committed in Chhaudadano police station.

Along with Shree Raj, OP incharge Deepak Kumar, SHO Chhaudadano Dhruv Kumar, SI Monika Kumari, Kumar Vishwambhar Hanumat, Mahesh Kumar Singh etc joined the raiding team.

It may be recalled here that sudden spurts of crime in the district has unleashed havoc among citizens but police timely action in such incidents not only averted a major incident but will help instill citizen’s  faith with cops.

East Champaran district having second largest population after Patna in the state has thin numbers of cops that has adversely affected the investigation process.  Frequent movement of VVIPs to this district also keeps the available police force on toes, leaving routine policing neglected.

MOTIHARI: District police onThursday nabbed a veteran criminal Raju Sahani along with his four henchmen with fire arms and cash of Rs 2 lacs 20 thousands along with contraband drugs cracking a robery incident occurred in a place of  Piprakothi Police station withing 48 hours of the crime committed.

Out of all five arrested by police three namely Raju Sahani, Subham Verma and Sandeep Kumar has just been bailed out in a number of cases in which they were made accused, police said.

While interacting a huridily organised press conference, superintendent of police (SP) Kantesh Kumar Mishra told that Raju Sahani of Tikuliya village under Pipra Police station, Subham Verma of Shekhpurwa Bazar under Pakadidayal police sttaion, Sandeep Kumar of Hathyahi village under Pipra Ps, Mahavir Kumar of Bhirkhahiyan village under Pipra Ps and Rahul Kumar of Hathiyahi under Pipra Ps were nabbed just before they are planning to commit another crime.

Acting swiftly on a tip-off that all these miscreants were gathering near Bangara railway barrier.under Sugauli police station “Our police team laid a trap and arrested five of them with cash, arms, drugs and live catridges, he said.  

While Raju Sahani is carrying over 13 criminal cases, Subham Verma have two cases over his head that includes arms act and loot. Raju Sahani has been booked in various police stations in east champaran and also in Siwan.
