MOTIHARI: Bettiah police claimed to have cracked the case of double murder mysteries within 12 hours of body recovered by police from fair ground under Mufassil police station in Bettiah – the headquarter of west champaran district.
Sadar DSP Pankaj Rawat told that the killers have been identified and police team have been let off behind them to nab. Both the dead persons use to stay at Bettiah station and were a professional thieves. They had a dispute with locals that led them their gruesome murder.. Family members too have filed named FIR against the culprits actually involved in the incident.
Bettiah police on Friday recovered two dead body from the premises of Hajari Mela ground located behind police line in Bettiah.
Police said that both the body was eaten out by animals in night and remains were recovered in the battered state after local informed the police about both the body. Both the youths were murdered being sliced their necks somewhere else and there body were thrown out in the fair ground to mislead the police.
Police said that both the dead people have been identified as Kanaiya Kumar of Lalsaraiya and Lalbabu Kumar of Baswariya village under same district. investigation revealed that both youth have visited their one of the relatives located in Hatsaraiya village under Saraiya police station. Some unidentified criminals murdered them at some unknown site and thrown them in a place located under muffasil police station area,police said.
SHO Bairiya Ashok Kumar told that bodies have been undergone autopsy and handed over to their kin. police have launched comprehensive raids to catch the murder.
Within one months, police recovered fourth body from Mela premises. a women have been found dead in a nala nearby fair premises few days ago.
