MOTIHARI: A tragic incident of child abuse has shaken a village in Motihari, where a minor girl accused her own father of sexual exploitation.
The incident occurred in a village of Harpur police station under Adapur block in East Champaran district.
The brave girl, fed up with the daily abuse, called 112, and the police quickly responded, taking her to the police station to file a complaint.
The father's actions have not only harmed his daughter but also damaged the trust and sanctity of their relationship.
In this case, the police have registered an FIR under the POCSO Act and are working to arrest the accused father, who has fled from home. The victim will receive medical attention and be cared for at a remand home (Balika Grih).
