MOTIHARI: NCC cadets visited the India-Nepal border as part of an educational tour organized by the 71st Battalion SSB Camp Piprakothi in Motihari.
Led by Prafull Kumar Commandant, this initiative aimed to boost the cadets’ morale by showcasing the Indo-Nepal border, battalion headquarters, and videos of brave warriors.
It may be recalled here that NCC cadets from various states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu-Kashmi, and Leh-Ladakh, participated in this program.
They received valuable information about the Sashastra Seema Bal jawans' roles and responsibilities on the border. The SSB officers also encouraged the cadets to contribute to the Army and Central Armed Forces, providing insights into the recruitment process.
The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Colonel PK Singh, Lieutenant Colonel Suren Pandey, and other high-ranking officials from the NCC and SSB.
This program is a testament to the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative's goal of promoting national integration and cultural exchange among India's diverse states and union territories.
