NEW DELHI : A devastating plane crash occurred in Muan, South Korea, when a Jeju Air flight from Bangkok veered off the runway and collided with a fence, erupting into flames. The flight had 181 people on board, including a three-year-old child, and tragically, 177 people have been declared dead. Only two flight attendants were rescued from the wreckage.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash. Preliminary reports suggest that a bird strike may have led to a malfunction in the landing gear, causing the plane to crash. The airline, Jeju Air, had received an 'A' grade in safety just a year prior, raising questions about the airline's safety practices.

The passenger plane was landing when it went off the runway in Muan, in the country’s southwest. The flight came from Bangkok and was carrying 181 people.
