Motihari Police’s Humanity Surfaces, over 130 Donated Bloods

MOTIHARI: This is a New Year image. Most beautiful, Isn’t it? . District Magistrate (DM) Saurabh Jorwal and Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarn Prabhat of East Champaran district together are on the path of humanity. Donating blood on the call of Bihar state blood donation council on Friday.
The district administration, on the occasion organized camps and inaugurated a vehicle for a mobile blood donation camp, which draws good numbers of donors. As many as 130 police personnel alone from many police stations in the district were seen donating bloods at the various locations, especially from Chakia, Dumarighat and Harsiddhi police stations in east champaran district.
SP Swarn Prabhat said that a blood donation camp was also organized in the Motihari police line, where SP and DM both donated their blood. Two mobile sub-divisional vehicles being facilitated for blood donation have been sent in Chakiya and Areraj subdivision and on Saturday, a blood donation camp will also be organized in Raxaul, Dhaka and Pakadidayal subdivisions.
 
 SP described blood donation as the real service to humanity as it could save millions of lives. He said that the blood donors were the real heroes as they play key roles in helping people in need. He called for more and more people, especially the youngsters, to come forward to donate blood and become active partners in this noble cause.
It is to be noted here that entire blood banks in Bihar are facing severe shortages of blood. The needy people either have to take blood from professional donors or lose their patient in need of blood. The professional donors provide blood with a number of fresh diseases transmitting in patients.
