Harsiddhi SHO replaces “Hajat” out of fear of CCTV, kept 30 hours a lone lady with male culprits

MOTIHARI : In a macabre tale of Motihari police’s blood curdling highhandedness, a 34 year old women was forced to spent whole night in a single room of police lockup along with more than half a dozen criminals on Monday.

A video shot in a police lock up room of Harsiddhi police station goes viral on social media in which a women is seen present among notorious criminals in badly injured and battered conditions.

When video verified, it is found that video has been shot in a room next to actual  “Hajat” but SHO of this police station was using this room as Hajat ever since he joined the office.

A woman and six other male culprits have been lodged on 10 September and few of them were sent to jail very next days of their arresting. But a woman was also sent to jail after video went viral after 30 hours of her "being in illegal confinement". Husband of victim women Upendra Singh told his wife has been detained in a land dispute but framed in a fake case to save the face.   

Her husband Upendra Singh alleged “her modesty was virtually outraged as she was disrobed at the time she was beaten up on her hip and has to spend more than 30 hours in police lock up room with male persons.

Sending a letter to various women rights’ organization and chief minister of Bihar, he alleged “SHO Mahendra Prasad deliberately did all this only to appease his enemies who illegally trying to grab his land with help of local police.

 She was thrashed repeatedly by men and women in uniform in police custody in presence of these criminals. And finally she was send to jail framing her in alleged case of fake and concocted story that she attacked on police team.

“Can an alone women attack on armed police team. All that is fake and concocted”, letters reads adding when SHO sensed he will be framed in court complain case for his highhandedness he framed her in fake case.

This is not first time, when she was sent to jail by the same police. She was sent few months ago in jail for same land in dipsute and allegedly allowed second party to encroach upon the land in dispute, he alleged.

The second parties again beat her black and blue after she bailed out. All times only to benefit local real-estate mafias and high up all time ended up with mysterious silence. 

Araraj DSP Ranjan Kumar said he is investigating the videos and other allegation being leveled on SHO.
