Vivek Thakur Murder: Police Announced Rs 25K Bounty on Jhunna Singh, issues Ultimatum to Surrender Within 48 hours
The police in East Champaran district have made significant progress in the Vivek Thakur murder case. They've identified the shooter and conspirator, thanks to the Special Investigation Team's (SIT) scientific and quick investigation. The prime accused, Jhunna Singh, is a business partner of the deceased, Vivek Thakur.According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Swarn Prabhat, Jhunna and his accomplice eliminated Vivek to take control of his money. The police have found transactions worth crores of rupees in Jhunna's bank accounts. They've also recovered CCTV footage showing Jhunna and his associate fleeing the crime scene.The police have announced a Rs 25,000 reward for information leading to Jhunna's arrest and have given him an ultimatum to surrender within 48 hours. If he fails to do so, his properties will be confiscated.

MOTIHARI: Thursday’s shocking murder of a business man Vivek Thakur-what police called a targeted killing, is about to be uncovered. District police claimed on Friday that it has identified the shooter and the conspirator both-thanks to the scientific and quick investigations of the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Superintendent of Police of East Champaran district Swarn Prabhat through a whattup communiqué said that assailants have been caught in the CCTV footage and modus operandi of crime has been recorded. Investigation revealed that one Jhunna Singh, son of Sanjay Singh, village Murarpur under Harsiddhi police station is found to be the prime accused in the case that killed Vivel Thakur to eat away his huge amount that had been kept by Jhunna. Jhunaa and Vivek both are business partners, he said.
Detailing the SIT investigations, SP said that police went through the bank accounts of Jhunna, where transactions of crores of rupees were found. Jhunna and his accomplice eliminated Vivek to eat away his amount.
On the pretext of petrol, Jhunaa called Vivek and shot in his head in very close blank range and fled sitting behind his accomplice’s pulsar bike leaving behind his hamlet that police recovered from the crime scene.
SP further said that only the arrest of Jhunna, the other conspirators and associates, who helped in murder will be revealed. Police have procured another CCTV footage, which shows Jhunna coming from bike with his associate. The investigating officer has been instructed to include CCTV footage in the case diary so that culprits could be brought to justice in trial.
Motihari police announced Rs 25000 reward on Jhunna’s head and issued an ultimatum to surrender within 48 hours or else all his properties will be confisticated.
