
Fake News : No arrest warrant issued against BJP chief whip Sanjay Jaishwal

MOTIHARI : East Champaran police have denied any arrest warrant issued against chief whip of BJP in lok sabha and president of Bihar state BJP Sanjay jaiswal in a case of instigation that led sectarian clash on poll day of parliamentary election on May 12, 2019 at Shekhauna village’s booths in Pacchim champaran lok sabha constituency .
East Champaran SP Upendra Sharma rebutted a story viral on social media and some top news channels reading additional superintendent of police (ASP) of Motihari Shaishav Yadav has directed investigating officer(IO) of the case to arrest Jaishwal . “ story viral on social medial and news channels are baseless and have no iota of truth as the case lodged against the Jaishwal is still under investigation on various angles,SP added
Detailing the incident, Sharma told that in 2019 parliamentary election, supporters of two parties took on one another in Ghorasahan assembly segments in east champaran district under pacchim champaran parliamentary seat. At the time of incident, four separate cases have been registered by police. First case was filled by administration and second was registered on the statement of Muslim communities while the last case was filed from the supporters of Jaishwal.
In July last, supervising authorities in the case have made the all case true including against Jaishwal and eight others along with the case of Muslims communities under various section of CRPC. As the case has no any strong evidence and serious injuries, it was considered under section of non-cognizable offence and bailable offence . Police found the firing allegation on the side of jaishwal true but during investigation it became evident that body guards of Jaishwal opened fire in the air in self defense after rival groups allegedly attacked on Jaishwal.
SP said that later on the instruction of range deputy inspector general (DIG), police have started investigation in the case of another angles. At the time of incident , supporters of two rival factions were clashing in Shekhauna village , the supporters of BJP called Jaishwal alleging booth riggings in the village. Before rushing at the spot in the village, Jaishwal intimated all top police officials, how he can instigate the mob and became part of clash, he asked.
The case is under investigation and supervision on the parts of particular levels of a police officer is nothing but an internal communication of police. Until the charge sheet submitted in court , the case is supposed to be under investigation. Police have no power to issue warrant against anyone it can only pray before court on the basis of evidence available to issues warrant against culprits.
It may be recalled that Jaishwal intimated Bihar DGP on august 23,2019 that on may 12, he rushed to Shekhauna village on the intimation of his supporters that supporters of his rival parties are creating hurdles in peaceful polling on booth no 162 and 163. As soon as he reached at the site,he was attacked.
