New Delhi Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday paid homage to senior BJP leader late Arun Jaitley on his first death anniversary.

In a tweet Shah said, “A tribute to Sh Arun Jaitley ji, a great politician, brilliant orator and great man. He was friend of friends. He will always be remembered for his good deeds and transformative reforms which have propelled India on the path of development.”

Arun Jaitley was an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Jaitley served as the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs in the BJP government from 2014 to 2019. He was born on December 29, 1952 in Delhi and died on August 24, 2019.
