TEJASVI DEMANADS DOMICILE RESOLUTION IN STATE ASSEMBLY, NDA IN QUANDARY
BY SAGAR SURAJ
MOTIHARI : RJD leader Tezasvi Yadav on Sunday tossed –up Motijheel’s squatters’ issues as well as ‘domicile police’ considering it as mass influencing issues to woo electorates in his ‘ Berojgari Hatao Yatra’ meeting held in the premises of Motihari zila school on Sunday.
Apart from raising national and Bihar’s issues, he hit the chord of local sentiments as well raising the issues of closed sugar factory in Motihari. Attacking on PM Modi, he said Modi, when he visited in Motihari last time had assured locals hat he will re-open the sugar factory and take tea with sugar produced by it.
He rushed Motijheel Lake soon after finishing his speech in the meeting in Zila School and stood on the top of ‘Yuwa Kranti Rath’ to address his supporters. While speaking from the Rath, he lambasted on local BJP representative saying the Motijheel has ever been a soft tools to loot money. He alleged lakhs of rupees at the name of this jheel development has been siphoned off. “BJP has made encroached the jheel lands. They constructed hotels and petrol pumps upon and whenever administration tries to remove such encroachments, they are pressurised to quit such drives” Tejasvi alleged adding that he will raise the issues in assembly sessions soon.
While making a numbers of electoral promises, he said that he will introduce domicile policy by reserving 90% jobs for native population and he will re-open all the closed sugar factory facilitating jobs for youths of Bihar,if voted in power. In Gaya meeting, he however did not raise his pledge of introducing ‘domicile policy’
Contrary to his statement he made before media a day before his Berojgari Yatra’ he appealed locals to uproot Nitish government as it is totally failed to provide jobs, improve law and order and education system in Bihar. “Bihar is yet to get special status”, he said.
Landing NDA in quandary, he also demanded for a resolution on the domicile policy in the state legislative assembly. Earlier while Laloo Yadav tossed reservation issues, Tezasvi fanned special status and domicile policy ahead of ensuing assembly election in Bihar.
He said that exodus of a large numbers of people out of Bihar in quest of jobs is a matter of shame for Bihar. Education system is at the lowest ebb here and incidents of rap, loot, kidnapping and murders have became order of the day. If ‘Nitish Chacha’ will not support his ‘Berojgari hatao Yatra,he should provide jobs to the native populations.
