CRIMINALS CREATES HAVOC, LOOTED BANK AT GUN POINT

MUZAFFARPUR: Six motor cycle borne criminals on Tuesday looted Rs 2.53000 lakhs cash on point of gun from State Bank of India branch at Lalu-Chhapra under Paru police station in Saraiya Subdivision. The branch manager and Cashier of the bank were made hostage by criminals and looted cash and fled away within 25 minutes.

According to police records 4 cases of loot of Rs 34 lakhs cash were registered in Muzaffarpur town and no one was arrested in these cases until Tuesday .

Niraj Kumar Singh ,city S P, SDPO of Saraiya Rajesh Kumar Sharma along with SHO of Paru PS reached at SBI branch and inquired the case and collected information from bank staff members. Mukesh Kumar Verma , manager of SBI branch said that around six criminals entered in the bank and they were brandishing pistols and made me hostage and looted cash. “We informed the police . At the time of loot around 50 customers were
present in Bank”,he said .
According to police sources in last four days 4 cases of loot were registered by police. The criminals looted Rs 5.31 lakhs from a courier company in Bhikhanpura in Muzaffarpur, Rs 14 lakhs cash was looted by criminals from Bank of India in Motipur ,the criminals looted Rs 15.50 lakhs from a private finance company in Saraiya.
