MOTIHARI: Superintendent of police(SP) Navin Chandra Jha ordered FIR against SHO of Kundwa Chainpur Police station Sanjeev Ranjan accusing the latter hand in gloves with the accused persons in a case of gang rape and murder to a Nepali minor girl.
In a suddenly organised press conference, SP said all the allegations levelled against SHO has been found true. “SIT formed to investigate the allegations has submitted its reports and SHO has been found guilty of deliberately delaying FIR and helping accused persons in disposing off the body of the deceased.
SP said that SHO has been booked under various sections of IPC. He will be arrested soon. “If he did not surrenders before police, his properties will be confisticated”, he added.
He said the video showing the body being disposed off pouring in to salt, sugar and Kerosin oil was also true and the audio of the conversation between SHO and accused persons are also sustentative evidence in this case.
Notably, Nepali citizens had been gang rapped. The minor was a daughter of a night guard in a private form in the same locality on January 21.
After audio went viral, Motihari SP reportedly get consulted night guard family in Nepal and Kundwa Chainpur police filed an FIR on February 2. SP formed a SIT to inquire into the matter. A team of CID’s weaker section led by its SP had also visited the district and investigated the matter.
