Nagpur; Six persons charred to death, when fire broke out in a building in tardeo, Mumbai, on Saturday morning. Sixteen injured have been hospitalized.
The fire broke out in a flat on 18th floor of Kamla building, near Bhatia Hospital in Tardeo sub-urb, suspected to be out of short circuit.


In all 12 fire tenders were pressed to defuse the fire. The fire was defused, but six persons lost their lives.
Mumbai?s Guardian Minister Aditya Thackeray visited the spot and talked to some of the residents of the building. He announced compensation of five lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased.

This was informed by MP Arvind Sawant and Mayor Kishor Pednekar.
