New Delhi; India's total tally of Covid cases has increased to over 4.13 crore after 2,09,918 people tested positive for the pandemic in a single day, said the union Health Ministry on Monday
The death toll has risen to 4,95,050, with 959 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, according to data updated at 8 a.m.
The number of active cases decreased by 53,669 to 18,31,268 cases, accounting for 4.43 percent of all infections, while the country's recovery rate is at 94.37 percent, according to the ministry.
The daily positivity rate was 15.77 percent, and the weekly positivity rate was 15.75 percent, according to the report.

The number of people who have recovered from the disease has risen to 3,89,76,122, with a case fatality rate of 1.20 percent, according to the ministry.
The total number of infections has now reached 4,13,02,440, according to the Sunday update.
