SP Swarn Prabhat passes strong massages to crime lords, assures co-ordination with public   

MOTIHARI: Porous international border of India-Nepal has always been challenges for securities officials. East Champaran’s long border clinching with Himalyan nation would draws spot lights time and again with the cross border activities of drugs and fake Indian currency paddlers and smugglers of contraband.

IPS Kantesh Mishra was replaced by IPS Swarn Prabhat as superintendent of police of East Champaran district- the district having second most population after patna in Bihar. On Monday last, while interacting with media persons newly joined SP Swarn Prabhat seemed non-compromising with crimes and criminals.

Sharing his vision for East Champaran district, he said his focus will be on prompt and proactive policing, apart from tightening the noose of hardcore and habitual offenders. The chain of organized gangs of crimes will be identified and broken.

Having taken over as new superintendent of police, he held a press conference and his road map what he shared with media persons raised hopes of denizens.

A 2017-batch IPS officer and a native of Bihar’s Bhojpur district, Swarn Prabhat stationed in Muzaffarpur as city SP and as SP in Gopalgunj district- a neibhouring district of East Champaran.
