MOTIHARI: District police on Friday claimed to have cracked a blind murder case by arresting two people in Ghodasahan in Bihar’s East Champaran district.

In a press note, superintendent of police of East Champaran district Swarn Prabhat said that on 27 August, 2024 police received information that a body packed in a bag laying abandoned on a bicycle near a canal in Ghodasahan locality. Swiftly acting on the input, local police recovered the body which was later on identified as twenty year old son of Ramjee Sah – a native of Nimuiya village under Chiraiya police station.

On the application of the family member of deceased Vikki aks Vikas, Ghodasahan police filed an FIR and started investigation. The case was totally blind and clueless and police has to take asylum to the technology and other scientific methods to identify the killers. Police finally identified all those involved in murder. Police also claimed to have recovered the cell phone used in calling deceased.

Police arrested Vikas Kumar and Prabhu Sah of Ghodasahn and comprehensive raids are on to nab rest of the culprits involved in this murder. On the proper instructions of SP Swarn Prabhat, SDPO Sikrahana Ashok Kumar undertaken a thorough investigations and used latest scientific tools to locate and identify the culprits.

Police said that Vikki’s neck was sliced and profusely bleeding led his death. The reason behind murder is said to be love and affairs in the same localities. SHO Amuj kumar Pandey, circle inspector Dhananjay Kumar also played pivotal roles in unfolding the mysteries behind murder. Local hailed police timely action and arresting.
