Cop allowing civilians to play with service revolver suspended

MOTIHARI: Superintendent of police (SP) Navin Chandra Jha suspended Shambhu Yadav, sub-inspector posted in Dhaka police station on charge of dereliction of duty.

This came after controversial Images of a Sub-inspector began trending on social media causing a great embarrassment for the district police.

In the images, a girl was seen with the cop carrying in her right hand the service revolver of sub-inspector. In another image a youth was seen with the same revolver.

The picture has a total of four people including the police officer and the girl.  The images are abuzz with the comments and reactions on the various platforms of social media including face book and whataaps. The hilarious comments forced SP to order an inquiry.

If locals are to be believed, the police officer had visited a birth day party, where he got caught in camera. The girl and a boy are seen with 9 MM pistol of the police.

The youth seen displaying the police pistol is identified as Raza Saraaf. After verifying the images, district police chief put the official on suspension.
