In a tweet, Nadda said, “Salute to him on the birth anniversary of Pingali Venkayya, the architect of the national flag ‘Tricolor’, who signifies the country’s honor and self-respect.”
It is noteworthy that Pingali Venkayya was born on August 2, 1878. He was the architect of the national flag of India, the ‘Tricolor’. He was also a true patriot of India, great freedom fighter and agricultural scientist. Along with this, he was also good at geology and agriculture.
