New Delhi: The speed of the new variant of Corona in the country, Omicron, has increased. So far 5,488 cases of Omicron have been confirmed in the country. Out of these, 2,162 patients have been cured and one has died.
The union Health Ministry said in the data released on Thursday that Omicron has now spread to 28 states and union territories of the country. Maharashtra is reporting the highest number of cases of Omicron.
There have been 1367 cases of Omicron here. Rajasthan has now reached the second number. Here 792 Omicron cases have been confirmed. Delhi is at number three, where 549 cases have come so far. Kerala is now at number four, where 486 cases have been reported. Karnataka is at number five where 479 cases have been reported.
