Most wanted ‘contract killer’ Nabbed in Motihari, Netizens heaved a sign of relief

MOTIHARI: District Police claimed to have nabbed Suraj Tiwari- a most sought after contract killer enlisted in most wanted lists in the district on Monday.

 “Successfully dodging Motihari’ police and continued involvement in murder, loot and extortion cases, Suraj Tiwari made his name synonymous with terror for the people living in East Champaran district-a bordering district along Indo-Nepal border”, Police said.

Tiwari, reported to be nabbed while he, along with his henchmen was on way to Areraj - 30 km west of Motihari-headquarter of district to commit another crime. The Intel activated Motihari SP and he hurriedly formed a team of the police officers belongs to Areraj sub-division area.

The team was led by SDPO Areraj that successfully zeroed in this notorious hit man with fire arms and drugs.

Modus operandi of crime as stated team Suraj use drugs before execution of any task. They would commit murder, issues life threats for extortion and commit loot.

 SP had prepared lists of most wanted criminals in the district in which Suraj Tiwari had been placed under top 10. Succumbing before interrogation after being caught up, Suraj admitted his involvement in the killing of Anil Singh- a formidable face in Motihari belongs to Ugam Pandey College area, issuing life threats to the owner of Tanishk show room for Rs 15 lakhs as Rangdari and gunning down one Ramkishor Singh native of Dumara village under Dumarighat police station area.

Suraj, who emerged as terror for last two years committed many crimes in and out of the district but in Motihari could be figured in only three cases which includes two in town police station and one in Kotwa. Police team includes Gobinganj inspector Vijay Kumar, Gobindganj SHO Mahendra Kumar and Pahadpur SHO Abhinav Dubey. Technical team of district police played a pivotal role in securing locations of criminal’s movements.
